How Henry came up with the idea for Tinker Reels
After spending the summer selling buttons at local farmers markets, Henry visited some local businesses to see if they were interested in having his buttons in store. At a ski and bike shop the owner wasn't interested in buttons, but was looking for ski pass holders.
That conversation lead Henry to start thinking about badge reels and how to improve upon the current designs. Henry wanted to go beyond the basic one design reels and allow people to swap their tops out to express themselves. After some work with a badge reel manufacturer he finalized the design and has filed for a patent.
